From my previous blog posts you can see how much I love taking picture of my two kiddies, but I absolutely have to take advantage of spring time when Cherry blossom trees arrive. With the busy work load and kids activities, I couldn’t get to the beautiful trees at Branch Brook Park, but at 4PM on a Thursday evening I shot out of my room and told my self its now or next year. The trees would die soon and I had to make it out there. By 5:30PM I had my daughter ready, and my niece in my car on the way to the beautiful park. The hustle and bustle of making it there was definitely worth it. We pulled up and even my 5 year old daughter was wow’ed by the pink trees and little petals all over the ground. I was in awe of the trees, each with a unique shape and glow.
My obsession of trees is real, I am always the odd one staring at random trees and using portrait mode on my phone to get a nice close-up of the colors. Here I was surrounded by so many trees, and I couldn’t stop taking pictures of each one as I walked around. I had to pull my self out and start taking pictures of my two adorable little girls who were dressed to impress. Each image of my niece and daughter were a work of art because of the colors surrounding them. They wore blue and it was the perfect offset to the pink background. Everything about the shoot was sweet, they laughed and giggled the entire time and each image was a canvas of their adorable sisterhood and love for each other. This is a must, every year I must do this … maybe next year I can convince my son into it (doubt it – that kid hates pictures).
